Hello today I am going to talk about Egypt who were the pyramids built for and why did thy build them these are only some of the questions that I will answer today

Pharaohs

Pharaohs were the rulers of ancient Egypt and when they died they had 200 soldiers be buried alive with them so that they could be protected in the after life they also packed in their tombs plenty of expensive food like apples grapes and coconuts all this may seep weird because you say this is the cheapest stuff on the market but back in those days and apple was worth a couple of good slaves, slaves were what people traded like if somebody says I’ll trade you a slave for a glass of water I’ll trade you a slave for an apple
I’ll trade you a slave for a cat

Cats were what were called gods in those days cats killed rats which carried black death which killed millions of people and when a cat died they were mummified then they built a pyramid one of these step pyramids and when a pharaoh died they built the limestone ones when a pharaoh died they always built a monument to remember him by like a statue a god monument with his face carved into it or the most known monument in Egypt the sphinx

The sphinx is built up of one single limestone and is the biggest monument ever built with a single limestone it was originally said to have a riddle hat you couldn’t pass to the other side now people walk gracefully from one side to another the nose has been a legend since the slaves forgot to build it was taken down by a pharaoh who decided he wanted to put his mark on the world or it was shot down by napoleon and his troops in target practice this claim is true because there seem to be bullet holes around the nose

Anyway I hope I have taught you all about Egypt and if I didn’t I taught myself quite a lot
